Vera Chang graduated from the Music Department of the National Taipei University of the Arts with a bachelor's degree. Before continuing her studies in France, she traveled to Italy for the Città di Barletta Young Musicians International Competition, where she was awarded third prize. In France, she studied under Olivier Gardon at the Conservatoire à rayonnement régional de Paris, earning the diploma of cycle de Concertiste. During her residency in France, Ms. Chang enjoyed numerous opportunities for recitals and collaborations with other musicians; in 2015, she was invited by Virtuoses du Coeur to perform a recital in Paris-Viarmes.
Upon returning to Taiwan in 2016, Vera was invited to participate in numerous high-profile performances. These included the founding concert of the MoonString Symphony Orchestra and a piano trio performance of "Good Day Paris" with flutist Yang Anli and violinist Wang Yunting at the Taipei City Arts and Culture Promotion Center. She also performed "The Good Times" with violinist Guo Chengshan and cellist Cai Zihan at the Wenshui Concert Hall, and joined violinists Zhou Tianai and Xie Mingxuan for "HEART CONTACT" at the Eslite Performance Hall. Additionally, she was invited by the Taoyuan City government to perform at the welcome concert for the President of Haiti.
While devoted to her teaching career, she co-founded Y.c.Pianist with pianist Yen-Chih Lin to actively promote classical music. Exploring various artistic styles including storytelling and writing, the duo has held a series of "BONJOUR" piano concert tours and hosted pre-concert talks throughout Taiwan.
